iwas-concepts AG - innovative recycling solutions

 

Plastic waste represents valuable resources. By recycling them and returning them to the materials cycle, we make our contribution to a more sustainable economy and protect our environment at the same time. Our focus is on the recycling of glass fibre reinforced thermosets (GRP).

 

Every year, > 200,000 tonnes of GRP waste are produced throughout Europe, which should be disposed of properly. So far, however, there is no established and sustainable recycling process in the sense of a circular economy. GRP waste is either incinerated or disposed in landfills.

Therefore, iwas-concepts AG, together with partners from research and industry, develops and implements innovative and sustainable solutions for GRP recycling in order to process these high-quality waste products and return them to the material cycle.
